"Enter" is the only longplay WT, where there is a distinctive growl, which warcząco-roaring vocals Robert Westerholt (s growl is heard even on the EP "The Dance." is one my favorite bands - listening to him for 14 years of age and have time to learn the all the record. As an experienced student Withinów, I can say that the band has had many musical experiments: the artists were interested in the sounds of heavy and light, depression and cheerful, symphony and folk, lame, and modest, quiet and noisy, and design from the classic film music. "Restless" - the song which climate can be described as "moderate concern". The work begins with restless and intriguing sounds of the piano, which attract the attention of the recipient and enter it in the right mood. These sounds play an important role throughout the composition. It is very important in the song is also a vocalist Sharon den Adel, who - including his sonorous, trembling, operatic voice - expresses feelings similar to those created by music.
song "Restless" has a very moving chorus, in which the singing of Sharon goes into poignant howl (indeed, I love the way this woman sings the words "through" and "you"!). whole composition "Pearls ..." is dramatic, but its finale is already the top drama. Reigning in the instruments - guitar, drums and keyboards - literally tear a man's heart. That can not describe, you have to hear and experience it for yourself. If someone asked me what it is cathartic odpowiedziałabym that it is precisely this feeling that embraces the human interior end (listened from the beginning), the song "Pearls of Light."
"Deep Within" - track who is veritable antidote to the previously discussed "Pearls ...." While the previous composition was soft, sweet, feminine and tearful, it is sharp, dark, masculine and menacing. As you can guess, it carries in its entirety by Robert Westerholt, owner terrible, almost "wilkołaczego" growlu. In the song "Deep Within", in addition to warcząco-roaring vocals Robert, very important is grim, as if the "tinkling" electric guitar. It is possible that it plays the same Westerholt, because he is not only a vocalist but also a guitarist.
"Gatekeeper" - very epic song, which sounds and words seem to tell a story, an otherwise tragic and chilling. At the beginning of the song is heard the mysterious, high and low tones, complemented by the ominous rumble of an owl. It makes the calls, imagine that the recipient of the night and open space, or parts of the world presented in the story. In the remainder of the work going on pathetic, though devoid of keyboard instrument sounds fun. Then we

I must admit that the "Gatekeeper" reminds me of the OUN-UPA crimes committed against Poles during the Second World War.
"Grace" - composition of very sharp, filled with extreme emotions such as fear, despair, anger and grief to another person. While the previous song was about people killed during the massacre, it appears that the tragedy of people staying in captivity. Lyrics probably talking about torture. Sharon sings that: "Cold are the bones of your soldiers, miss the home, their little paradise. I do not feel redemption on their side. (...) Feel these hands, tightness, cold, shivering. Do you hear these words? Can you feel the wound? I'll never help. Cold are thy souls. I feel resentment. They feel betrayed, hated the cold. I do not feel redemption on their part "(translation my own).
When this song expresses the futile plea for mercy, comes to an end, the listener feels completely "zdemotywowany. Even more so, that the last words sung by the singer sounds very pathetic and painfully. Especially its final "through", like yelp of pain and despair. The whole song "Grace" reminds me of a scene from the third part of "Forefathers" by Adam Mickiewicz, in which Rollisonowa talks with Senator.
"Blooded" - instrumental track, similar to the "Gatekeeper." What is interesting in it, it sounds that mimic the clatter of horses' hooves. The rest is not worth describing, as most of the solutions proposed in the "Blooded" a replay of that described a few paragraphs earlier song about the massacre. It is a pity that the composition do not contain words. I think that they would increase significantly its artistic value.
"Candles" - most peaceful track from the whole album, where you can relax after the impressions caused by the earlier compositions. Work Fri "Candles" begin to roar and whistle of the wind, after which the sounds are soft, a bit of Celtic music. This quiet, relaxing entry takes quite a long time, so you can close your eyes and listen at him. As for the vocals Sharon den Adel, then it comes as if from afar - not so prominently as in other pieces from the album "Enter."
After about 2 minutes and 20 seconds, says the piano, and 20 seconds later - the heavy guitar, a song which adds drama. Sharon vocalizes quite anxious few vowels, and then sing alternately with Robert Westerholt. Composition, and thus: the whole CD ends with a clearly and definitively.
